Bio

Dr. Kuen Wai Ma obtained his Ph.D. degree in acoustics from the University of Hong Kong in 2020 after earning a BSc degree in physics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 2020 to 2025, he served as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology as an Assistant Professor in 2025. Dr. Ma has authored and co-authored 23 SCI journal articles, 19 international conference papers, and a book, Prediction and Control of Noise and Vibration from Ventilation Systems. His main research interests are the fields of acoustics, mechanical noise and vibration control, sustainable built environment, and data science.
