Taipei Tech hosted two distinguished guests from the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, Austria on April 25. Both on their first visit to Taiwan, Dr. SCHMÖLLEBECK Fritz, President of the University, and Ms. KÖLTRINGER Gabriele, Managing Director of the University, were interested in Taipei Tech and its research and development. After a welcoming address given by Taipei Tech Vice President Yang, Roy Hu, a Taipei Tech student who was in the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien through an exchange program, shared his experience overseas.
In order to showcase our campus, a brief tour was arranged by the Office of International Affairs. We are proud of our up-to-date equipment in factory labs, therefore CNC Factory, also known as Intelligent Manufacturing System Education Factory, was the highlight in the agenda. This visit not only provides great opportunity for both schools to know each other better but also opens the door for further exchange in the future.
